I need an efficient switch mode regulator for a wearable system.
It is a step-down only application to provide a healthy 5v @ 1A from a discharging 12v battery - hence the need for efficiency, as it is wearable, it can't get too hot.
I have limited experience in this area, but I know there are some fantastic devices out there now. I would prefer an inductorless solution if possible and the lowest number of supporting components.
Thanks in advance.
