The organization vDC does not support the virtual hardware version defined in the OVF

I have a VirtualBox machine and I need to upload it to vcloud site provided by 3rd party.

I export a test machine to .ova 1.0 using latest VirtualBox (0.9 cannot be parsed at all). When I try to upload, it says: The organization vDC does not support the virtual hardware version defined in the OVF.

I don't know where to view the version on that site. To allow uploads it lets you download VMware-ClientIntegrationPlugin-5.5.0.exe. There's also an existing VM there. In its properties I see: Virtual hardware version: HW7. There's also an option to "Upgrade to hardware version 10"

Can I manually edit the .ovf file to make the hardware compatible?
