Unity shaders and textures not transferring properly when using github

We have the game code on github, when we try to clone onto different machines the shaders and textures do not transfer over properly. Has anyone else noticed this problem using gitHub?


Make sure you've properly configured Unity for source control. Mainly, enable visible meta files in Edit->Project Settings->Editor. This makes the meta files visible so source control can see them.
