When I disconnect the network cable and reconnect at a different port as fast as I can or I touch my switch which has a loose contact and powers of for a second, all connections immediately get aborted.
Reading more about it, I find that there is Transmission Control Protocol [Wikipedia] which has the following "features":
- reliable transmission
- timeout based retransmission
- error detection
- forcing data delivery
Is there a problem with my PC that all my connections get aborted immediately, even if it is disconnected only for a second?
